SHREWSBURY FILM SOCIETY

Season 7

It never ceases to amaze us that the supply of excellent world cinema films never seems to be exhausted. All but 2 films are from this decade, and 75% of the films were released in the past 2 years.

However, we would like to give a special mention to the 'oldies' in the list. Both are English language films. The Third Man is an absolute stone-cold classic — the very best of British cinema, whilst Broadway Danny Rose is one of the most endearing films of any era, in any language, and from any country.
